Support

Last updated 6 October 2026

Wendkom is a small company and your email is read by a person, not a ticket robot. Write to us and you will get a real answer.

iShalom is in development. It is not yet generally available. If you are testing a pre-release build, say which build and platform when you write — it saves a round trip.

Where to write

Product support

support@wendkom.com

Something broken, confusing, or not working on your device.

Privacy & your data

privacy@wendkom.com

Access, correction, deletion, or a copy of what we hold.

Security

security@wendkom.com

A vulnerability. Please read how to report it first.

Legal

legal@wendkom.com

Notices, copyright complaints, and law-enforcement requests.

Everything else

hello@wendkom.com

Partnerships, press, and anything that fits nowhere above.

What to expect. We aim to reply to support email within two business days, and to privacy requests within 30 days as the Privacy Policy sets out. We are in the Pacific time zone. We do not offer phone support.

Helping us fix it faster

Most support email takes two or three exchanges simply to establish what happened. You can skip that by including, where you can:

  • what you were trying to do, and what happened instead;
  • your device and operating system version — for example "iPhone 14, iOS 26.1";
  • whether you were on the app or in a browser, and which browser;
  • the app version, shown in Settings;
  • roughly when it happened, with your time zone;
  • a screenshot or screen recording, if it is something you can see.

Please do not send us your password. We will never ask for it, and nobody at Wendkom can read it — it is stored only as a one-way hash.

Deleting your account and your data

You can delete your account yourself from inside iShalom, in Settings → Account → Delete account. It takes effect immediately and you do not need to ask us first.

If you cannot reach that option — you have uninstalled the app, lost the device, or cannot sign in — email privacy@wendkom.com from the address on the account with the subject "Account deletion request". We may need to verify that the request is really yours before we act on it, because an unverified deletion request is a way to attack someone else's account.

What is removed, and the two things that are not, is set out in the Privacy Policy. In short: your profile, account details, message history on our servers and attachments go; messages already delivered to other people's devices are beyond our reach, and anonymised logs persist briefly until they rotate.

Reporting a security issue

If you have found a vulnerability, we want to hear about it and we will not pursue you for telling us in good faith.

Write to security@wendkom.com with enough detail to reproduce the issue. We will acknowledge within five business days, keep you informed while we work on it, and credit you when it is fixed if you would like us to.

What we ask of you

  • Give us a reasonable chance to fix it before telling anyone else.
  • Test only against your own account and your own data.
  • Do not run denial-of-service tests, send spam, or use social engineering against our people or our providers.
  • If you come across someone else's personal data, stop, and tell us — do not download, keep or share it.

We do not currently run a paid bug-bounty programme, so please do not expect a reward. We would rather say that plainly than imply one exists.

Reporting abuse or a harmful message

If someone is harassing you, threatening you or sending you unlawful content on iShalom, report it from inside the conversation, or write to support@wendkom.com.

Content that sexually exploits or endangers a child is reported to the authorities, always, with no exception and no warning to the account concerned.

One honest limitation: where a message is end-to-end encrypted we cannot read it, so we rely on what you send us. Include a screenshot. For calls, which we do not record, tell us the time and the participants.

If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. iShalom cannot call emergency services.

Is the service down?

We do not publish a status page yet. If iShalom is not working and your connection is fine, write to support@wendkom.com — and if we are having an outage, you will not be the only one telling us.

During an outage we post updates as a banner on wendkom.com, which runs on separate infrastructure and stays available when iShalom does not. We will also email you if an outage affects your account and lasts more than a few hours.
